Upon arrival at Pits Lodge in Polokwane, we were warmly welcomed by the receptionist, instantly making us feel at home. The cleanliness of the place, from the rooms to the fresh-smelling blankets, impressed us. The accommodation fulfilled our request promptly, adding to our overall satisfaction with the service.Unfortunately, our dining plans were disrupted as we arrived late, and the kitchen was closed. However, the friendly receptionist went above and beyond to assist us in ordering food through his Uber Eats app, showing genuine hospitality. It's these personal touches that truly make a difference in a guest's experience.The room was impeccable and well-ventilated, contributing to a comfortable stay. We appreciated the attention to detail in providing free toiletries and a hot shower. Though the bed linen was not ironed, it did not detract from the overall pleasantness of our stay.In conclusion, Pits Lodge offers a cozy retreat in Polokwane, with amenities such as free WiFi, air conditioning, and a restaurant serving African cuisine.
